FoodAdvice team in Indonesia together with educators and students of WBI and a group from Nanyang Technological University Singapore visited Wilmar palm oil plant (Multimas Nabati Asahan (MNA) Kuala Tanjung).
The plant has been in operation for 27 years. During our visit, we learned about the stages of its development and were impressed by the state-of-the-art automation technologies used in palm oil extraction and refinery. We were also struck by the beauty of the process and the dedication of the staff. It was inspiring to see how the plant is contributing to the local economy and providing sustainable solutions to meet the global demand for palm oil.
